Pretty groovy stuff → charliewonder.com

Charlie Wan is one multi-talented mofo and it kinda suck we never got to meet when we were both living in Hong Kong. I like his photography a lot and as a dj he’s grooving it pretty good although I do not share his enthusiasm for cheesy flashback songs, but otherwise I can spend entire days working with that stuff playing in the background. Check out the ‘mixes’ section for downloads.

“A lot of the people who read a bestselling novel, for example, do not read much other fiction. By contrast, the audience for an obscure novel is largely composed of people who read a lot. That means the least popular books are judged by people who have the highest standards, while the most popular are judged by people who literally do not know any better. An American who read just one book this year was disproportionately likely to have read The Lost Symbol, by Dan Brown. He almost certainly liked it.” —The Economist - A world of hits (via tumbledore) (via syntheticpubes)

Afternoon

As I walked in the freezing cold air this afternoon after getting a few blows to the ego and personal organization in less than 24 hours, I wished I could be elsewhere at the moment and felt exactly like I did when I first left Montreal almost-for-good a few years ago.

This is going to be a long winter.
